When the temperature drops the first thing I want to do is shop for new shoes. I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of wearing black shoes. I find it chic and low maintenance. Because of my height, I tend to gravitate to monochromatic tones in the fall. So when the chance comes, I take full advantage of rocking my black shoes. From low to high end, Ive put together some of my favorites for you. I hope this post will help or give you some inspiration for fall shoe shopping.
Hi Everyone! I am finally back in Virginia after a full week of being in New York City for fashion week. So hectic but so amazing. Every time I get back from New York City especially for fashion week Im just rejuvenated and re inspired. I feel like Im ready to conquer the world. However, Im so happy to be back and reunited with my family. Especially because Caden (my son) has started school and I couldn't wait to hear all his stories he's saved up for me. With that being said, I hope everyone is having amazing weekend. I will talk to you all soon.
P.S. I am currently working on a NYFW vlog for you all.
I instantly fell in love with with romper the moment I received it. Thank you Finders Keeper. This bright apricot color just instantly brightens my mood.
Today, I am fully equipped in Forever21. I recently picked up this amazing lime top during their end of the season sale and have been getting so much wear out of it. Super light and airy. Pairing it with my favorite pair of boyfriend shorts is so ideal for summer.
This past week, I trekked my way through the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I have to say it was an awesome experience and definitely a memorable trip for me. We stay at the Ritz Carlton where we enjoyed breakfast in bed, open hour pool, and the best mojito- no joke. Anyways back to the few highlights of my trip. Food Food Food! Foodie dreams from the fresh seafoods, fruits and local delicacies such as monfongo, carne guisada, and pasteles. I was pretty blown away from the freshness of the food and kindness of the locals. I rarely review restaurants but Budatai, an asian theme cuisine located in Condado district definitley deserve one. The pork dumplings, tuna tartare and rack of lambs were cooked to perfection.I could literally go through each thing we did but it would probably take up a whole day to read. However I did enjoy heading to Rio Piers Market, Old San Juan, Vieques Island (ferry ride however was not my best friend ), and Luquillo kiosks.
Thank you all for reading and remember life is short take a vacation and trek away!
Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of summer. When see this post I will have already be on the plane to Puerto Rico woohoo!! In the mean time, here's a little throw back post to cooler weather, brown hair and still rocking high waisted skinnies.
Finally, theres nice consist warm weather in Richmond and due to the bike race this past weekend, most of the streets were shut down. So of course I took this opportunity to take a stroll downtown hitting up some of my favorite tapas resturants.
Since the weather is getting warmer Im allowed to show a little more skin. I decided to pair my white loose fitting crop top from Topshop with my favorite boyfriend jeans. Lately I have been obsessed with the color white and if you follow me on Instagram , then you might have seen my latest obsession, the Chanel boy bag in white sheep leather. I just think its just so crisp and classic looking. Plus you can never go wrong with Chanel. To finish off my outfit I threw on my super comfortable nude heels.
Thank you all for reading, have a good night everyone.
