Some of you may or may not know that I live in a very small town with a population of about 15,000. We basically have a Walmart and Starbucks to keep occupied. Finding locations to shoot can become very difficult at times. However, today's location was a complete coincidence. In the midst of trying to beat the sunset and following my GPS, I end up shooting at a dead end. Moral of the story? Sometimes unexpected things in life can be okay too.
We all know Black Friday offers the best shopping deals for this season, however this can be a very stressful experience if you are not prepared. A good way to prepare for Black Friday shopping is to simply plan ahead. By using the Shopular app, I am updated on sales with coupons to use right from my phone. You can have access to this app by simply downloading it to your smartphones. In preparation for Black Friday, Shopular was kind enough to send me some goodies helping to endure this chaotic event.

Happy November everyone!
Although spring is my favorite season, fall doesn't fall too far behind it. From knee high boots, warms drinks and beautiful colors, I absolutely adore fall. I wore this outfit a few days ago while heading out for lunch and some early Christmas shopping, yes Im already talking about Christmas shopping. We all know this time of the year can get a little overwhelming especially if you have a big family like I do. So any early shopping I can get in I really appreciate.
It's likely that you've seen this product on your newsfeed or read about it in a magazine. Like many of you I have been really curious to try Younique 3D mascara after reading many reviews on it. There will be a giveaway at the end of this post for those who are interested. Without any further ado, lets get into the details of this mascara.
How it works:
Apply a thin coat of your favorite mascara
Then apply even coat of Transplanting Gel on lashes
Immediately, before gel dries, apply fibers onto lashes
Lastly, seal the fibers with another coat of Transplanting Gel.
Contains natural fiber ingredients
Does an amazing job adding thickness and length to the lashes.
Water resistant (which means no smudging + easily wash off w/ makeup remover)
The fibers are black which is much nicer compared to similar products that have white fibers which can be hard to cover with mascara
Time consuming, this is a 3 step process.
Your lashes can appear clumpy or spidery if not applied correctly
This product is not sold in stores
Younique recommend replacing this product every 8 weeks, so it can become costly at $29 a tube.
Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants fuller and longer lashes without the commitment of lash extensions or dealing with false lashes. I personally like the end result of false lashes for special occasions however, this is currently my favorite every day mascara. I will be repurchasing this product. To purchase or get more information on Younique 3D Lashes click here .
I have team up with Anne from Younique to give you a chance to win your very own mascara kit.
Please click the link below and follow the easy steps. The giveaway starts today and will end on October 19, 2014.
Good Luck everyone, and as always thank you for reading.
When the temperature drops the first thing I want to do is to go on a hunt for shoes. I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of wearing black shoes. I find it chic and low maintenance. Because of my height, I tend to gravitate to monochromatic tones in the fall. So when the chance comes, I take full advantage of rocking my black shoes. From low to high end, Ive put together some of my favorites for you. I hope this post will help or give you some inspiration for fall shoe shopping.
Hi Everyone! I am finally back in Virginia after a full week of being in New York City for fashion week. So hectic but so amazing. Every time I get back from New York City especially for fashion week Im just rejuvenated and re inspired. I feel like Im ready to conquer the world. However, Im so happy to be back and reunited with my family. Especially because Caden (my son) has started school and I couldn't wait to hear all his stories he's saved up for me. With that being said, I hope everyone is having amazing weekend. I will talk to you all soon.
P.S. I am currently working on a NYFW vlog for you all.
